Thank You

The Syston RBL would like to thank everybody who has kindly supported our Sleep Out and the donations given for such a great cause in raising money and awareness of homeless Veterans.
Special thanks to Syston Council who gave us permission to sleep on the park, STN for all their support and it was lovely seeing you on the evening of our event. Also thank you to the Grosvenor Snooker Club, Fox & Hounds, Brookside WMC and Mansah for letting us go round collecting donations and even Flames gave us a kind donation. Roberto’s Pizza were really good in giving us free pizzas and chips on what was a cold but dry evening.
And a big thank you to Workwear.com who donated and supplied us with hoodies, t-shirts and gilets to wear which were really appreciated.
On the evening the wonderful people of Syston helped us raise a total of around £300 towards all the other sponsors/donations we have received, the final total has yet to be added up but we believe with everybody’s help we have raised over £1,000 which is fantastic.
