A big thank you to my friends Angela & Sapreen for holding this event on behalf of #TheSystonFundraiser, to Sarah Tripp & her son Charlie who are superstars at running tombolas and raffles, to Jenny Parker for helping with the free seed planting activity and to James McDonald for helping with setting up and packing up. I also need to mention #Wilkos in #Syston for the donation of £10, #BarkbyRoadNurseries for the plant donation, to Ann Elizabeth Randle for tombola prizes, & to Hazel Fabris who runs #FabtasticCakes, to Glennice Sprigg for her home baked goodies, and also to Donna Ball. It was a fantastic event and I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did.
Thank you for helping to raise £372.70 for The Leicestershire Community Cupboard, from this amount we are donating £50.00 to The Methodist Church Hall for the use of the room.
It was a great event, some of these people will be at The Syston Summer Fayre on Saturday the 31st of August 2019, in WasteNot Leicestershire’s Green zone.
