Fundraising Event for The Leicestershire Community Cupboard

Jas for selling gift items, Jaqueline for the 2nd hand books & toys, and Charlotte Hall for the vintage household items you brought. #MuddyKneesGardening & Nicola Tyldesley for helping Caroline to sell plants & give out gardening advice. #BrightasaButton who make baby memory boxes, pictured above, #Geretts Becca Geraghty makes reusable items for every day use for children, and for around the house. #JamboreeCrafts sell #Mertonschooluniform & supply other schools in Leicestershire, as well as other crafted items. #BullDogSavioursUK, #Tropic Vegan Skin Care & make up with Cat Colliano, #TurtleyEco fantastic household items, to help you to become plastic free around the home. #OzziesWoodBarn aka the talented Steve Thompson from the WasteNot Leicestershire Reduce Reuse & Recycle group for his bird boxes made from waste wood. #MadelinMakes by Kelly Madelin who has her debut today at our
event, she has an amazing crafting talent and I love the items she creates from recycling old items around her. #RecycledCraftProducts by Jay Beekeeper Anderson who makes peg looms, craft boxes, black board signs, plant labels and many other items from wood, a very talented man, pictured below left. A big thank you to my friends Angela & Sapreen for holding this event on behalf of #TheSystonFundraiser, to Sarah Tripp & her son Charlie who are superstars at running tombolas and raffles, to Jenny Parker for helping with the free seed planting activity and to James McDonald for helping with setting up and packing up. I also need to mention #Wilkos in #Syston for the donation of £10, #BarkbyRoadNurseries for the plant donation, to Ann Elizabeth Randle for tombola prizes, & to Hazel Fabris who runs #FabtasticCakes, to Glennice Sprigg for her home baked goodies, and also to Donna Ball. It was a fantastic event and I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did.
Thank you for helping to raise £372.70 for The Leicestershire Community Cupboard, from this amount we are donating £50.00 to The Methodist Church Hall for the use of the room.
It was a great event, some of these people will be at The Syston Summer Fayre on Saturday the 31st of August 2019, in WasteNot Leicestershire’s Green zone.
