Friends of Barkby Road Cemetery
Hello it’s Ros again.
Not a lot has happened this month except that the weeds keep growing as fast as ever! Please feel free to help us a little if you can, if you see any leaves or weeds can you please remove them and also any dead flowers.
The bird table is now in place, please feel free to help feed them, especially as autumn and winter arrive. They like nuts, fat balls and small bird food.
The rainbow mosaic has been designed and will be in place sometime in September or October, personally I can’t wait to see the finished result.
Over the weekend of the 14th and 15th August the Chapel was redecorated and I’ve done a summer theme displayed with shells etc (sorry no beach sand). Well it is supposed to be summer!!
Andy has had a well deserved holiday and we can see the results of his tender loving care now that he’s back once again.

Just a point to remember; the Chapel is available to hire so if you wish to do so please contact Catherine Voyce at Syston Town Council.
