Memorial Service Syston Methodist Church, High Street
Sunday 14th November 2021 at 6pm
Syston Methodist Church will be holding this service to remember those who have died in our community. We were unable to hold one last year so this year’s will be particularly poignant and relative to those people whose loved ones have died in the past two years and those for whom a funeral service could not be held.
This year, rather than reading out all the names, you will be offered paper on which to write the names of those being held in memory, possibly with a short message. These sheets will then be bound into a book.
During the short service there will also be the opportunity to light a candle and/or write the name of your loved one on a stone to add to our Cairn of Remembrance.
The Minister and all the members of the Church welcome you warmly and compassionately to the service.
