McMillan Coffee Morning
The Beer Pharmacie held a fabulous MacMillan Coffee Morning on Friday 24th September.
It was Dave Noseley’s Mother Jean Aldwinckle’s 31st MacMillan Coffee Morning, she has done every one since it started. Raising thousands over the years.
At the time of going to print they have have raised over £1,500 for the charity!!
Our very own SKB left a donation of a knitted Doughnut, see picture above and left which was auctioned and raised £70.
There was cake stall by Ann Thurman, a raffle and a few other money raising games.
Dave and Jean would like to Thank all those that supported it.
Since setting up the Beer Pharmacie, Dave had created it as the Community Pub, sponsoring Syston Cricket Club and a local Boxer plus raising money for Teenage Cancer, LOROS and the Poppy Appeal plus others!
They have a meeting room upstairs which let for free to community groups as well.
We look forward to Dave getting the Beer Pharmacie re-opened and with community’s support make it a great addition to our high street.
