Syston Banking Hub Update

The Stn has been in communication with the company bringing the banking hub to Syston.
They have stated that they have, to date, been unable to secure a suitable premises for the Hub. An offer in early summer, despite being very competitive terms, was not successful to secure premises they wanted as an offer was already accepted and progressing through the legal process.
They are continuing to work with their local council contacts and their property agent to try and identify something suitable: it needs to be c1,000 sqft to accommodate their counter service security and bank requirements.
They wanted the Stn to reassure the people of Syston and district that they remain committed to opening a Banking Hub but are dependent on suitable premises being available, so they will continue to try and secure a lease for the right property and continue to remain committed to opening a Banking Hub for the community.
