Belvoir Drive Christmas Sparkle
On 26th November, Belvoir Drive had their annual light switch on event ‘Christmas Sparkle’. They have run this event since lockdown to bring joy to local residents when Christmas looked like it would be cancelled.
They have been raising money for charity since 2021. This year the street pulled together with turkey and stuffing cobs, a bake sale, a raffle, letters to Santa and even Santa himself came to meet the children.
This little corner of Syston raised £1463 for The Jericho Society and The Brain Tumour Charity.
