Friends of Barkby Road Cemetery
Hello everyone. Well, what a mix of weathers we’ve had so far this month, the snow, although very cold has made our beautiful cemetery look fantastic – crisp white, glistening snow, with spring flowers, peeping through, as were our floral tributes to our loved ones.
Removal of dead flowers and Christmas wreaths and Christmas decorations is still ongoing. I hope you like the St Patrick’s Day/Mother’s Day mixed display in the chapel. We have to say a great big thank you to Syston Banksy for her Saint Patrick’s Day contribution.
As always, if you would like to place a bench, or rose in the cemetery for your loved one, all you have to do is contact Catherine Voyce at Syston town council or dave.hackett68@ outlook.com. Likewise, if you’d like to hire our beautiful chapel for any reason, whether it be for the remembrance of a loved one, or for a funeral.
