Friends of Barkby Road Cemetery
Hello everyone. I hope you all had a lovely summer. I am now into the cycle of busy times for displays; Autumn and Harvest Festival, Remembrance Day, St. Andrew’s Day and Christmas. This means quick changes again.
We have the following information for you about the cemetery.
- There will be a book of remembrance placed in the chapel, where you can leave your special words in memory of a loved one.
- There are now three designated areas for the scattering of ashes, with one available to include plaques.
- We’re going to try a new initiative.
Would anyone like to adopt the fountain, plant it with flowers and care for it in memory of a loved one?
The adoption would be initially for a six month period.
