87 year Old Climbed Mount Snowdon in Memory of His Wife

John Woodhouse formerly of Syston, climbed Mount Snowdon on May 15th, which was exactly 10 days after his 87th birthday.
Together with one of his daughters Andrea, who’s 63!!, they made the trip in memory of their beloved wife /Mam, Patsy Woodhouse, who they sadly lost in December last year. It took them four hours to reach the summit and a further three hours to get back down!
Having done some research, it seems that he is the oldest British person ever to climb the mountain, which makes it even more amazing!
A go fund me account was set up to raise money for Parkinson’s UK, and they have so far raised an amazing £1,058!!
We are all so proud of him and his determination to succeed in our Mam’s memory.
