Birstall and District Art Society

Members meet for informal painting sessions on Friday mornings 9.30am to 12 noon at the Coop Sports & Social Club, Birstall and on Wednesday evenings at Wanlip Village Hall from 6.30 to 8.30pm. All abilities are welcome and those less experienced can benefit from the expertise of longer-standing members (if desired!). There is the opportunity to take part in taster sessions before deciding to join.
Demonstration evenings are held on the second Tuesday of most months at the Palmer Tomkinson Centre at the Cedars Academy, Birstall. These start at 6.45pm and there is a charge of £5 for non-members. On 9th June Steve Woodhams returns for an Experiment in Cubism and on 11th August, BADAS welcomes a new artist Chris Jay Rogers who will be focusing on skies and clouds in landscape, using soft pastel. Paul Berryman will demonstrate portraiture on 8th September.
