Syston QT Theatre Group Set to Raise the Curtain This June
Final preparations are underway as rehearsals intensify for Syston QT Theatre Group’s upcoming production of Peter Quilter’s Curtain Up!, opening later this month.
This fast-paced comedy is brought to life by a talented all-female cast, who have been rehearsing since March. Alongside plenty of hard work, there has been no shortage of fun – and the group is excited to share this fantastic play with audiences.
Curtain Up! follows five very different women who unexpectedly inherit equal shares in a crumbling old theatre. Thrown together by chance, they embark on a chaotic, heartfelt and hilarious mission to save it from demolition. Their solution? A charity concert featuring a special guest performer to draw in the crowds. Will it succeed? Come along to find out.
