We are a family run company formed in 1999 and we pride ourselves on being a truly independent roofing merchant, with no affiliation with a contractor or supplier. This unique position allows us to give impartial advice, based on years of experience in the building industry. Over the recent months of Covid19, we haven’t stopped ensuring we provide our high level of service and go that extra mile.

Based in Syston, Leicestershire (selling and delivering to Leicester, Melton Mowbray, Loughborough and Lincolnshire), we pride ourselves on service to trade and public, providing a large range, including exclusive products, of quality well known brands as well as reclaimed products.
We know roofing supplies aren’t products people think about. For roofing repairs, until there is a problem, no one looks at their roof. Repairs are considered an emergency and even a disgruntled purchase by customers. For new roofs, the materials are often an afterthought. However, maintaining a roof each year can saves hundreds if not thousands long term. Choosing the right roofing system for a new roof can not only save a significant amount of money long term but also create energy efficiencies and be more environmentally friendly too.

We have numerous initiatives to support local businesses:

• Our out of hours mobile phone number for emergency roofing materials to be delivered out of hours, ie during storms

• Bespoke repayment methods. We appreciate that this doesn’t make great business sense to some, but for Imperial, we believe in supporting businesses that need a little extra help. This has been critical during these recent months to a few of our customers. Relationships and trust are core to this.

• Provide FREE training on new products and systems to help our customers increase their portfolio of work.

Support new businesses to setup in the roofing trade. In recent months, sadly due to redundancies in the building sector, many roofers have decided to move into self employment. This is quite a scary thing to do – especially in the current climate. We recognise this and have offered support and advice to help get them kickstarted. We love watching them grow and become successful.

In addition to all of this, Imperial is dedicated to supporting the local community. We:

• Sponsor the Leicestershire Pool Team (Thurmaston 147 A+B) that enter National tournaments

• Sponsor the Monday night Pool Premier League in Leicester – Club 147

• Support the Great Central Railway Bonfire Night through donating all Imperial pallets for the bonfire.
