Syston and Thurmaston ‘Litter Wombles’

This is a new Facebook group which is all about cleaning up the environment and highlighting litter problems in Syston and Thurmaston.

The group founder Marine Cunningham, is in contact with both Syston Town Council and Thurmaston Parish Council who have offered their support.

Marine said: “There is no pressure to litter pick, I post events, just join in when you can! Use common senses at all times, never take any risks near water or roads.Other than that, enjoy!
