Rod, Pole or Perch?

Barbara Orridge gave Barkby & Beeby WI a talk and demonstration of Willow Weaving and its uses. She explained the origins of ‘Stripping the Willow’ and how different cultures used it for spiritual rituals. Every member took home a fish on a rod – some new species were invented!! They were certainly individual.
